Xenical is a prescription diet pill, an effective diet pill, but unfortunately not without some inconvenience side effects.. Roche markets it in the UK, Canada and France. Its main ingredient is Orlistat, a.k.a. tetrahydrolipstatin. You may also find Orlistat as over-the-counter diet pills under name Alli, marketed by GlaxoSmithKline. Orlistat is a natural lipase inhibitor, meaning it makes fat intake difficult. It can make 30% of our daily fat intake indigestible. This fat inhibitory characteristic made Orlistat as an effective anti-obesity drug.

Meridia Review

Meridia is a diet pill that can be classed as an appetite suppressant. One of the best diet pill, in term of effectiveness, but not without some inconvenience side effects.

It’s made from Sibutramine, usually in form of sibutramine hydrochloride monohydrate. If you have heard about an appetite suppressant named Reductil, that’s in fact the same diet pill in different clothes. Meridia is a sibutramine trademark marketed in U.S. and Canada area, whereas Reductil are for Europe and other countries.

Meridia a.k.a. sibutramine works by suppress reuptake of norepinephrine, serotonin, and dopamine, thereby stimulating the state of being satisfactorily full. It’s reported to be able to help its user to lose weight of 1 – 2lbs a week.
