Thursday, April 1st, 2010Meridia is a diet pill that can be classed as an appetite suppressant. One of the best diet pill, in term of effectiveness, but not without some inconvenience side effects.
It’s made from Sibutramine, usually in form of sibutramine hydrochloride monohydrate. If you have heard about an appetite suppressant named Reductil, that’s in fact the same diet pill in different clothes. Meridia is a sibutramine trademark marketed in U.S. and Canada area, whereas Reductil are for Europe and other countries.
Meridia a.k.a. sibutramine works by suppress reuptake of norepinephrine, serotonin, and dopamine, thereby stimulating the state of being satisfactorily full. It’s reported to be able to help its user to lose weight of 1 – 2lbs a week.
