Phentermine Review

Phentermine is a potent appetite suppressant, but with a galore of side effects. It makes our brain unable to receive hunger signals from our body by stimulating hypothalamus portion of the brain to release a neurotransmitter called norepinephrine. Using it, you can expect to lose 4 – 6lbs in a month, or about 1 – 2lbs a week, steady.

Bad news, the totals of negative side effects of Phentermine were unbelievable; it deserved its own gallery. I even thought about making a one-whole-page dedicated particularly to its side effects, but I had a change in thought and let Wikipedia to present it to you. Just to name a few: insomnia, diarrhea, headaches, increase blood pressure, blurred vision, change in sexual desire, confusion, irregular and/or increased heart rate, nausea or vomiting, skin rash or itching, tiredness, irritability, and many, many more.

In 1997, 24 cases of heart valve disease were reported in Phentermine users. Later studies showed that 30% of Phentermine users were found to have abnormal valves. IMHO, FDA should ban Phentermine altogether.

Phentermine is classified as a controlled substance. It is a Schedule IV drug under international Convention on Psychotropic Substance and a Schedule IV too under the US Controlled Substance Act.

My advice: forget this product; avoid it at all cost. There are many weight loss pills with the same effectiveness or even more effective in losing weight with fewer side effects. So why take the unnecessary risks?
